Welcome to Moat Farm Bed and Breakfast in Powys Mid Wales. We are in the market town of Welshpool in the beautiful Severn Valley with views of the Long Mountain and Breidden Hills. A traditionally furnished 17th century Farmhouse offering delightful bed and breakfast accommodation.

The area is stunning in its beauty, and this part of Mid Wales is steeped in history and culture a place where time has stood still. Here you can escape the crowds and recharge your batteries.

Mid Wales is an area of rolling hills, remote uplands, unspoilt mountain roads, cool forests and silent lakes. But do not be deceived by the tranquility, there is plenty going on here, including pony trekking, fishing, shooting, walking, narrow gauge railways, riding, canoeing, sailing and mountain biking- the list is endless.

A public footpath leads from the garden over the fields to the River Severn where there is fine sport for fishermen.
